At Anime Wordle (https://animewordle.com/), accessible from our website, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Anime Wordle and how we use it.

1. Data Controller

Anime Wordle is based in Türkiye. We process your personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) No. 6698 of the Republic of Türkiye and other relevant international regulations, including GDPR where applicable.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

A. Analytics and Diagnostics (Firebase)

To improve the service, we use Google Firebase Analytics and related diagnostics. These services may process pseudonymous device/app identifiers and information such as:

• Device type and operating system.
• Geographical location (at the country/city level).
• Time spent on the site and pages interacted with.
• In-game events (number of guesses, win/loss status, etc.).

We use this information for aggregate product analysis, reliability, abuse prevention and funnel measurement; we do not use it to identify you by name.

B. Advertising Services

Web and mobile versions may show ads supplied by third-party networks, including Adsterra and Google AdMob. Those providers may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers and similar technologies subject to their own policies and your platform/privacy choices.

C. Local Storage (LocalStorage)

Your active puzzle state and guesses are stored in LocalStorage so you can resume on that device. In-progress guesses are not synced to the cloud.

D. Optional Account and Cloud Data

You can play without an account. If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, Firebase Authentication provides an account identifier and available provider profile data such as display name, avatar and email. Firestore syncs aggregate stats, streak history, achievements, player handle and leaderboard entries. Anime Wordle does not receive or store your Google or Apple password.

3. Optional Accounts, Retention and Deletion

An account is never required to play. Signing in enables cross-device profile sync and leaderboard score claims. You can delete the account from the profile controls; the deletion flow removes the Firebase Auth account, and local browser data is cleared on that device. Synced records such as stats, streak, achievements and leaderboard entries are retained under the account identifier and are no longer linked to a signed-in profile; contact us if you want them removed. Aggregated analytics and provider-controlled backups may be retained according to provider policies and legal requirements.

4. Your Rights Under KVKK and GDPR

In accordance with legal regulations, visitors have the right to:

• Learn whether their personal data is being processed.
• Request information if their data has been processed.
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used for that purpose.
• Request the deletion or anonymization of their data.

5. Choices and Policy Changes

You may play signed out, sign out, clear local site data, use device advertising controls, or delete your account. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date above when we do.
